It’s been a rough week for LRRC. Both the Bowers have been down sick, Chris has a knee injury, and Tom a broken rib.

As we enter Russia, I remind myself that I have Russian in-laws who are fantastic people, and not to be prejudiced against the normal people who travel these roads we’re now on.

We leave Ukraine behind and find ourselves just north of Vinogradnyi, Russia. As we head to the deserts of Kazakhstan we see the last flat fields, green grass, and trees that we’ll see for a while…

In terms of raw numbers we only lost 10 miles last week. Good going people!
