Our Deutschland adventure is coming to a close as we near the Polish border. The German countryside continues to charm, with much of the route through wooded pathways (see a picture much further down).

February continues to be a tough month, with us frequently dropping below the daily required average. As a team we are now 53 miles behind target. But worry not, there are many miles ahead.

Regardless of where I drop the “road view” pin, it’s almost always beautiful landscape in Germany.

We find ourselves in Diekholzen, Germany. Rolling hills covered in forests, intermixed with flat farmland. Just lovely. Maybe one day we’ll visit.

Another solid week, with an additional two miles added to our lead. Let’s hope this lead doesn’t crumble with a Florida summer and New Zealand winter to come.
