Next up on places we’ll never visit – Akzhigit, Kazakhstan. A small desert town on the border of Uzbekistan. No idea why anyone would live here, but I guess you could say the same for Thrupp.

We are approaching 4000 miles. This week looks positive with Matty on holiday (ice cream walks incoming), any my knee improving. Not to forget the new running socks I received for father’s day.

Another week, another 171 miles slogged along Kazak dirt tracks. We are now in Rakusha, which I believe is just a region of desert, with no towns or villages in sight.
